Meditation

Over the years, I have noticed that women are more and more stressed. The pressures of working, raising families and modern life are all taking their toll on women’s health. I have had an interest in meditation for as long as I can remember but it wasn’t until someone suggested I try a mindfulness course after my first son was born that I received any formal instruction. Since then, I have tried apps, books, retreats, professional workshops and online courses. There is so much research now on the benefits of mindfulness as well as my own positive personal experience, that I have been recommending it to patients for some years. Whilst there are lots of great digital resources available I believe that the connection and benefit from attending a class in person is very powerful. I am registered with Meditation Australia and have completed a Certificate in teaching and guiding meditation from the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness so that I can develop classes and courses for women.

If you would like to be informed when classes and courses are released and about any other upcoming meditation events, please put your name on my mailing list below.
